The calling engine
Lines, numbers and the pace to use them
A floor is only as good as what it can dial with. This is the layer that decides whether your agent is in a conversation or listening to a ring tone: the lines they register, the number that shows up on the other end, and the mode that feeds them the next call.
- 10–100 agent lines with live registration state
- Local two-way numbers and number requests by market
- Progressive, Power, Press-1, IVR, Broadcast — plus manual
- Pools, rotation, rest, limits and exclusive blocks
Presence
Local, two-way, and yours
A number that cannot take the callback is half a number. Every local number we hand you answers as well as it dials, routes to the agent, ring group or IVR you point it at, and shows up in the portal with the device it is mapped to.
Agent lines
Provision lines per seat with their own SIP credentials, device label, call limit and assigned DID mapping. Registration state is visible in the portal, so 'his phone is not working' becomes a fact instead of a theory.
Local numbers by market
Request local two-way numbers for the markets you are actually calling. Availability, number type and any documents a country requires are confirmed before the order, not after you have staffed the desk.
Ring groups and inbound
Point a number at one agent, a ring group, an IVR or a callback queue. Blended floors run inbound off the same numbers the outbound campaign is dialling from.
Regional endpoints
Register against the edge closest to your floor rather than dragging every packet across an ocean. The endpoint directory lives on the network page.
Pace
Five modes, one campaign engine
Dialler and campaign management are part of the platform, not a bolt-on you integrate and pray over. Lists, statuses, outcomes, tasks, follow-ups and callbacks all live against the same call record the supervisor and the QA reviewer are looking at.
Pick the mode that matches the list and the licence you are working under. A warm list of booked calls wants Progressive and a human on every connect; a cold list wants pace; a permissioned notification wants Broadcast and nothing else. The mode is a campaign setting, not a different product you have to buy.
| Mode | What it does | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Progressive | One attempt per free agent, placed when an agent is actually available. | Expensive leads and deliberate conversations where nothing should be abandoned. |
| Power | Several attempts per free agent; the first live answer reaches the floor. | Long lists where idle time is the main cost, tuned to your abandoned-call limits. |
| Press-1 | An approved message asks the recipient to opt in before an agent is connected. | Campaigns where this flow is permitted and pre-screening interest is worthwhile. |
| IVR | A voice menu routes the call before it reaches a person. | Inbound or blended flows that need queues, choices and departmental routing. |
| Broadcast | Delivers an approved voice message without occupying an agent. | Lawful service messages, reminders and confirmations — not unsolicited campaigns. |
Which mode is lawful for your list, your sector and your destination is your legal position rather than a setting we can make correct for you. We will tell you what a destination requires; the consent behind the list is yours to hold.
| Campaign | Mode | Agents | State |
|---|---|---|---|
| Renewals EU | Progressive | 12 | Running |
| Winback DACH | Power | 8 | Running |
| Service notice | Broadcast | 0 | Scheduled |
| Inbound overflow | IVR | 5 | Running |
Control
Number pools, rotation and rest
Numbers are inventory. Treat them like inventory and they last; treat them like a config field and you will be buying new ones every fortnight.
Pools per campaign or market
Group numbers into pools and bind a pool to a campaign, a market or a team, so the presenting number always matches the story the agent is telling.
Rotation and rest
Rotate presentation across a pool and rest a number that has been working hard, instead of hammering one DID until the carriers make the decision for you.
Limits and warm-up
Ramp a new number rather than throwing full campaign volume at it on day one, and cap per-number usage so one busy morning does not undo a month of good behaviour.
Exclusive blocks
Where a brand needs numbers nobody else has ever used, take an exclusive block rather than sharing a pool with whoever had it last.
| Number | Market | Pool | State |
|---|---|---|---|
| +31 20 ••• •••• | Amsterdam | Rotation A | Active |
| +49 69 ••• •••• | Frankfurt | Rotation A | Active |
| +44 20 ••• •••• | London | Rotation B | Resting |
| +48 22 ••• •••• | Warsaw | Rotation B | Active |
Protection
AMD, reputation and knowing before you dial
Answering-machine detection keeps agents on conversations rather than on greetings. Reputation work keeps the conversations happening at all.
Answering-machine detection
Configurable per campaign, because the right sensitivity for a Press-1 broadcast is the wrong one for a booked-call list. AMD outcomes land on the call record with everything else.
Spam Checker
Check a number for known spam tags and reputation risk before you put it into a pool, and check it again when connect rates on that pool start to sag. Free, no account needed.
Outcome discipline
Dispositions, callbacks and do-not-call handling are part of the campaign record, so the list stays clean and the next pass is not calling people who already said no.
Encryption
A softphone built for the floor, not for a desk in an office
The customised Windows softphone is signalling over TLS with media over SRTP, labelled per device, and provisioned from the portal. Credentials are revealed deliberately, not emailed around.
Secure Windows softphone
TLS for signalling, SRTP for media, and a build shaped for agents who make hundreds of calls a shift rather than a general-purpose desk phone app.
Bring your own
Already running VICIdial, Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX or your own stack? Register it against our edge and take the lines, the numbers and the routing without moving your floor software.
Credential hygiene
SIP credentials are revealed in the portal by the account owner, per device, and can be rotated when someone leaves. Device labels mean a credential belongs to a seat, not to a mystery.
Questions
Straight answers
- What is the difference between Progressive and Power dialling here?
- Progressive places one call per available agent and connects the agent to whoever answers, so nobody hears an empty line. Power places more than one call per available agent to cover no-answers, which lifts talk time on a colder list and needs more care about abandonment. Both are campaign settings on the same engine.
- Can I use my own numbers?
- You can register your own PBX or dialler against our edge and present numbers you already hold, subject to the destination's rules on who may present what. We do not provide caller-ID spoofing, and we will not help you present a number you have no right to.
- How fast can I get local numbers in a new market?
- It depends entirely on the country. Some markets are same-day; others require a local address, a company document or a regulator registration before a number can be issued. Tell us the markets and we will tell you which bucket each one is in before you plan the campaign.
- Do you support inbound as well as outbound?
- Yes. Local numbers are two-way, and blended floors are the normal case here — the same numbers that dial out take the callback into a ring group, an IVR or a queue.
